How to Order:
STEP 1:
Look at your playfield(s) and see how many inserts you’d like to light up and what types of inserts they have. Then, plan what you’d need to illuminate it.
We highly suggest our "Basic (Screw-on Type Caps) Illumination Kit" that comes with 1 Warm-white Light Strand, 1 Wall Hanger, 50 Adjustable 1” Caps, and 10 Light Covers. Typically, that’s all the parts you'd need to light up 50 circular inserts on most playfields. You’ll have to screw them down using the old playfield's lamp screws (#6 3/8" sheet metal screws not included).
Be sure to buy any other insert caps if your playfield has unique inserts you'd like to illuminate (Star Rollovers, Button Rollovers, etc.). Those unique insert caps aren’t included in the Basic Kit.
STEP 2: Order the types and quantities you require, along with any extras!
Each light strand comes with 50 Warm-white Lights. If you playfield has more than 50 inserts, you might want to consider ordering more stands and insert caps to cover them all.
Will you have unused lights? Be sure to order Light Cover Caps to hide those from shining behind the playfield.
Does your playfield have Star Rollovers? Button Rollovers? Those require a different type of insert cap. Be sure to buy any other insert caps if your playfield has unique inserts you'd like to illuminate.

FAQ:
Q: I don't see the insert cap I need for my insert!
A: No problem! 😊 Playfields sometimes have unique inserts. Our "Adjustable 1" Screw on Cap" which is about 1" in diameter will cover almost any circular insert (excluding rollover target inserts). You'll need to use your playfield's old lamp screws to attach it. It is adjustable to fit almost all insert types and sizes. If that won't work, contact us and we can make a new type!
Q: My playfield doesn’t have screws on it I can use with the Wall Mount or “Adjustable Screw On Caps”. What screws should I use?
A: We recommend using #6 3/8” sheet metal screws. These are the same size screws that are used to hold down lamp sockets to the bottoms of playfields. If you’d like to use a different screw, just make sure to place the screw along the edge of the playfield to make sure it’s not longer than the playfield thickness. We don’t want to add any new holes to the pretty side of the playfield! 😉
Q: My playfield has more than 50 inserts I would like to have illuminated.
A: You have a few options:
Option 1: You could leave it the way it is and choose which inserts you'd like to have lit and leave others unlit.
Option 2: You could buy another strand of lights and extend the number of lit inserts to 100. You can then either cap the unused lights on the extra strand (using our Light Cover Caps) or use them to start lighting up inserts on another playfield placed adjacent to your current playfield (splitting an extra light strand between two playfields).
We're working on getting simple add-on light strands that would simply add 1-3 extra lights to the strands of 50, but it's not available yet.
